The Medical University of Innsbruck is an institution of education and research in the following fields of study: Human medicine and dentistry as the basis of academic medical education, PhD studies (doctorate) as postgraduate aspect of scientific work as well as a bachelor degree course in Molecular medicine. Furthermore, the treatment of patients is one of the three core tasks of the Medical University of Innsbruck.
